Join the Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce as we invite the community to participate in the 2017 candidates forum. Event is open to all candidates running for office in the City of Port Wentworth. Come out and meet your candidates!  OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

Current open positions include:

• Mayor
• Council District 1
• Council District 3
• Counci
• At-Large

Qualifying begins August 21, 2017 at 8:30 a.m. and closes on August 24, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. and will be held at Port Wentworth City Hall, 305 South Coastal Highway, Port Wentworth, Georgia 31407. 

The qualifying fees are $216 for the office of Mayor and $144 for City Council Members.

Prospective candidates are encouraged to contact the Clerk of Council with any questions related to Qualifying for the 2017 General Municipal Election at (912) 964-4379 during normal business hours, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
