Mayor and Council of the City of Port Wentworth will hold a Special Called Meeting on Thursday July 2, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. for the purpose of discussing the following two agenda items: 

1. Appointment of Waverly P. Jones to City Manager as a formal change in title due to the approval of the City of Port Wentworth Charter Revisions by the State of Georgia; and 

2. Site Plan Review Application submitted by Steven E. Scheer, Scheer, Montgomery & Call, P.C., on behalf of Greenland Developers, Inc., for PIN #'s: 7-0977-01-027, 7-0977-01-028, & 7-0977-02-002 (Hendley Drive & Monteith Road) for a General Development Site Plan to allow Industrial Warehousing / Distribution in a P-I-2 (Planned Industrial) Zoning District.

The meeting will be held at the old Port Wentworth City Hall, 305 South Coastal Highway, Port Wentworth, Georgia 31407.

The general public is welcome to attend the meeting face-to-face or via teleconference. However, seating will be limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis to prevent the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) and to be certain social distancing guidelines are followed. To attend the meeting remotely, the general public must use the information listed below.
