PORT WENTWORTH, GA – The Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce is launching a video marketing campaign in an effort to highlight the community's numerous local businesses, local landmarks and attractions. The initiative is an important facet of the chamber's overall mission to promote and support its members.

The Chamber partnered with Elevated Coastal Productions on this project, which is designed to showcase the city's thriving business climate and home in on what makes the community unique. The videos will be available for viewing on the chamber's website, www.visitportwentworth.com, as well as on their social media accounts.

“The Port Wentworth Chamber of Commerce is proud to champion, promote and protect business interests and tourism promition through its many programs and events. We often provide opportunities for businesses to market themselves, network with other business and civic leaders, and get involved in the community. We hope this video initiative will be seen as another successful component of our commitment to our members and tourism partners," Chamber President & CEO Trisha Growe said.

The video campaign is part of a larger marketing initiative on the chamber's part to increase visibility and ramp up brand appeal. Efforts also include a new website and app, and the chamber unveiled a new logo late last year. The organization is also in the process of developing and revamping their printed collateral, such as the community guide, tourism brochures, membership brochure and various rack cards.

“With everything that’s unfolding right now, we know it takes a strong effort to keep our businesses owners encouraged and positive. Every small thing we can do, every little boost we can offer – it makes a difference. This project was in the works before COVID-19 became a threat, but the timing of our release seems to be helpful. Businesses need the support and attention now more than ever,” Growe said.
